Admission Procedure

Admission will be based on the  marks secured at the ERDF Combined  Entrance Test & Marks secured in HS/ 10+2 Examinations (50% from ERDF CET & 50% from qualifying examination).

ERDF Combined  Entrance Test :

ERDF Combined  Entrance Test will be conducted in the second week of June & result will be declared within 48 hours from the  date of entrance Test. Students may opt any of the courses from the following institutions according to their choice of study & convenience of location subject to the status of merit List.  A common application will be made available to opt out the priorities. This common entrance Test is provided to create wider opportunity for the aspirants to opt various courses in two different institutions through one admission test.

Merit cum Means Fellowships :

Special Offer for ERDF Students
25% fee concession will be offered to the students who have completed qualifying examination (HS/ 10+2) from any ERDF institutions subject to the conditions prescribed in the admission policy. Similarly 20% seats of the total intake will also be reserved for the students of ERDF.

Researvation of Seats

Besides reservation prescribed by different authorities, management of ERDF have decided to accommodate 33% seats for the girl students. 20% of the total intake of each program will be filled up through the Management Quota (MQ applicants may be relaxed from ERDF CET).

General Guidelines for Aspirants to submit Application Forms

  • Candidates are required to read the prospectus carefully before filling in the Application Form for Registration / Admission
  • The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but results have not been declared may also apply for admission but they have to submit their results before admission.
  • 20% of the total intake of each program will be filled up through the Management Quota.
  • Candidates seeking admission to any of the said institutions during the academic session 2020-2021 may obtain the prescribed ERDF CET Application Form along with the Prospectus from the University Counter at USTM, Meghalaya; Techno City, USTM, Kling Road, Baridua, 9th Mile, Meghalaya or Allama T R College of Pharmacy, Taleem City, Srigouri, Badarpur, Karimganj, Assam on cash payment of Rs 1000/-.
  • The application form may also be downloaded from the USTM’s website www.ustm.ac.in and submitted along with the prescribed fee as mentioned above. In such a case the prospectus can be collected during the submission of the form.
  • The Application Form and Prospectus may also be obtained through post by sending crossed Demand Draft of an amount of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of “ERD Foundation Guwahati” payable at Guwahati
  • The cost of Prospectus along with the Application Form for each course includes also the Entrance Test Fee.
  • The Application Fee is non-refundable and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained.
  • Candidates are required to fill an application form in his/her own handwriting. If a candidate submits more than one application form for the same course, his/ her candidature is liable to be rejected.
  • Three recent (passport size) coloured photographs duly self-attested should be affixed on the application form. Application forms with different photographs are liable to be rejected. These photographs are to be pasted with gum and should not be stapled or pinned. Photocopies of photographs are not acceptable.
  • Application Form must be filled in and duly signed by the applicant.
  • Incomplete application form (s) shall be summarily rejected.

  • Admission Policy : Procedure for Admission

    Admission will be based on Merit List prepared by the Central Admission Committee (CAC) constituted by ERDF, considering the score of Entrance Test & Academic credentials   (50% from ERDF CET & 50% from qualifying examination). List will be displayed in the website of the institutions & Notice Board besides publicity in the social media plat form. RULES RELATING TO ADMISSION:
    1. Admission will be allowed only after due verification of all original documents by the verifying officer of the institutions. Admission will be given only to those who have qualified ERDF CET or nominated by chairman of the sponsoring organization (Special case).
    2. All the candidates are required to submit Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate in original within 60 days from the date of admission, failing which the admission of the student is liable to be cancelled.
    3. The candidate shall take admission on payment of prescribed admission fee as given in the Fee Structure. 4. If a candidate fails to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed date, his / her admission rights will be automatically stand canceled.
    4. Admission of a candidate may be cancelled at any time, if any information furnished by the candidate at the time of admission is found to be incorrect or that the candidate has been wrongly admitted due to any reason.
    5. No candidate will be allowed to take up a job while pursuing a full time Course. Those who are employed at the time of admission, will be required to produce a certificate of leave from their employer within one month from the date of admission failing which their admission will be cancelled.
